I'm still a procrastinator; however, ...
I'm not sure how I want to approach my blog. What should I write about? What shouldn't I write about? I guess for today I'll just say something about school and how it's going.
My classes are going pretty well. I'm staying caught up for the most part, and I can definitely see where I've grown since my first attempt at college. I haven't dropped procrastinating entirely, nor has it improved by leaps and bounds, but I'm getting things done and NOT falling behind. For me, that's half the battle.
Once I've missed a deadline, especially in a class, it's hard to let it go. Anxiety takes over and it doesn't seem possible to turn something in late. Then that feeling makes it hard to even go into the class and participate. After that I can't understand why a professor would want me to come in after skipping out. You see the progression...
I guess I'm saying that I feel good about what I've accomplished so far this go 'round. I'm on pace to get all A's, I think. I'm realizing I still don't work ahead like I should, but I'm getting better. And realizing that is a big step.
