URI is better than UTI

On Sunday I woke up with a random sore throat and my body was kind of achy. By Monday morning it was much worse, so after taking Jillian to the first day of her new job, I made my way to a local Redi-Care office to see the doctor. Turns out I'd come down with an upper respiratory infection (URI) AND a sinus infection! The physician assistant was nice and gave me free antibiotic samples they had on hand, which helped ease the burden on the ol' wallet. Although we found out that Jill's job offers health coverage from day one, so I'm hoping I can submit a receipt once we're signed up with them and get a bit of reimbursement. It's odd, the teacher whose class I am observing just said on Friday, "Isn't it great to know you have health insurance?" I replied, "Yes, it is. It's like I feel the freedom to get sick now." Prophetic words, prophetic words.

I'm feeling much better today after getting my first solid night of sleep in the last four days. I'd say I'm at about 75%.

Three more weeks of class. What?!
