Pee-Wee was Right...Bikes are Cool
Today I took my bike out for the first time since the triathlon last August ('04). After checking the breaks and the seat post, all I had to do was add some air to the tires and I was all set.
I'm hoping to make this my primary mode of daytime transportation for the rest of this spring and summer. It should help me rack up the extra miles I will need for this year's triathlon; plus, it will save on gas.
Today I rode to downtown Scranton; I made stops at the U's library (amazing building!), the Mall (for a Mother's Day card and a bite to eat), the Post Office (to mail said card), the Credit Union (hooray for paychecks), Comics on the Green (I'm not really a comic book guy, but there is one collection that I've been reading in volume form; I didn't buy the next one today, just browsing), and finally, the Scranton Public Library. I'm still at the library posting this pretty pointless blog entry.
I hope you have a great day.
