Words and Chords
My birthday is always an indication of another cyclical event: the beginning of the school year. I begin my two-class semester tomorrow, only having classes on Tuesday and Thursday. The rest of the week is open for work. This means that I am now back on-campus working in the computer labs, and so my blogging frequency should increase after a lull for the last month.
Because of a few gracious birthday gifts, I had two gift cards to Borders burning a hole in my pocket and a few hours to myself yesterday while Jill tended bar (yes, my wife is bartending...how hot is that?!). I ended up with a book by Robert Inchausti called Subversive Orthodoxy: Outlaws, Revolutionaries, And Other Christians In Disguise and the Death Cab for Cutie album Transatlanticism.
The book should be a good introduction to some writers, thinkers, artists, etc., who are in the theological area that I am hovering around right now.
That's all for now. My brain is conking out at the moment; it hasn't been used to posting lately, let alone at 9 a.m. I hope you have a blessed day.
