How is Me?
Well, I'm pretty good. I'm tired a lot, but that's to be expected with our current schedule. I thought I hadn't posted much about what's going on in my life lately, so here's a quick update:
Working 15 hours/week at Marywood University as a computer lab assistant;
Working 15-20 hours/week at Eddie Bauer in the Steamtown Mall;
Working about six hours/week as a janitor;
Exercising three-four times/week;
Taking two classes (six credit hours) in English: Shakespeare and Poe & Twain;
Observing two hours/week on Friday mornings in an 11th grade English classroom at North Pocono High School;
Celebrating the Eucharist on Friday nights with a new emerging Episcopal movement in the Scranton area;
Attending Elm Park United Methodist Church Sunday mornings; and,
Leading Elm Park's college ministry, FOCCUS, Sunday evenings.
Is that all? ; )
Jillian and I have also been getting to know some new people more and more, mostly from our church and the Friday night gatherings. Eric and Melissa are my age from Elm Park, a married couple with an adorable seven month old baby girl named Hannah - I'm hoping to get some pictures soon. Recently we had dinner with them at their place and had a great time hanging out. Jill helped feed Hannah, bathe her, dress her, and read her a bedtime story. I took the back seat and played with her off and on.
The couple who are leading the Friday night gathering, Scott and Demery, are great folks. Demery is an ordained Episcopal priest and is the celebrant of the Eucharistic liturgy. Scott is a professor at the University of Scranton. We've really enjoyed spending some time with them and keeping them up late after the gatherings! They also have three adorable (and smart, and creative, and well-behaved...) boys, Nolan, Eli, and Luke.
I don't want this to get too long, so I'll stop here. Thanks for stopping by and checking in...I know you're out there! Have a blessed day.
Peace to you,
Josh
