Today's the Closing!

We have our final walk-through at 3, then head over to the lawyer's office at 4 to sign the papers and pay the closing cost.

So, hopefully by 5 or 6 tonight we'll have the keys to our first house!!!

On the schedule:

Thursday night: clean the house and set up the stereo (priorities, yo!)

Friday morning/afternoon: finish cleaning; finish packing; take a few carloads over in the midst of these things

Friday night: Peacemeal gathers at our new home for dinner, a house blessing, and Eucharist

Saturday: move. All day. With a U-Haul and lots of good friends. And maybe some quality beer and pizza.

Sunday: be sad because the first full day in the house after moving will be a day out of the house for me. Mission trip presentation at 9 at Epiphany, followed by worship and then brunch with the youth group; meet the Presby kids at 1 to head out to Camp Lackawanna for the Fall Youth Gathering of the Presbytery from 2:30-7. Get back to the church around 8 and head to our new home to crash!
