Thank You, Recap, Feedback Thus Far

First, I want to pause and say thanks to all who have been visiting the blog throughout the day. I know many of you are first-timers coming in from links I e-mailed or you saw others post for me. I hope you are finding some useful things. I know the posts are long and a bit dis-jointed, so let me recap where we've been so far today if you get antsy when having to scroll through long posts:

Mark DeVries from Youth Ministry Architects on DEVELOPING LEADERS/VOLUNTEERS (Workshop I)

Dietrich Kirk, executive director of Center for Youth Ministry Training, on EVANGELISM (Workshop II)

Gonzalo Duarte of Companero Inc spoke briefly about his SERVICE LEARNING/MISSION TRIP AGENCY (brief interlude)

Kenda Creasy Dean spoke on THE EMPIRE STRIKES OUT, touching on the end of Christendom, missiology, translation, reframing... (Lecture I)

If the long version of notes is too much, please bear with me. I'm finding I don't have much time to trim or just copy and paste highlights as we're moving along quickly. Let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions. I'll be posting about a more hands-on workshop about TESTIMONY given by Lesleigh Carmichael of the CYMT later this evening (since it was hands-on, I wasn't able to type notes as we went along). I'll also likely have some notes from the evening worship, where Kenda is PREACHING.
