Enjoying Friends
I didn't blog too much about my trip to Maine last weekend, but let me say this: I think Jillian and I have a really great circle of friends, even though most of them live a few hundred miles away. We're really blessed to be surrounded by good people. I couldn't help thinking that again and again last weekend as we just hung out and spent time with Lauren and Ferris.
Last night, even though we were dead tired from staying up to write those Lit Crit papers on Wednesday, we met Jason Silverstein and Jen Hamby at the Wilkes-Barre Climbing Gym. Jason has worked there for the last few months, and he and Jen love to rock climb. It's fun to watch people who are pretty good at it. After Jason got off work we went to Barnes and Noble to hang out for a while longer while enjoying tea (Jillian) and mochas (myself, Jen, and Jason). By the time we got home around 11:30 we were both dead tired, but it was worth it. Jason and Jen are people we're hoping to spend time with on a more regular basis.
If only I could move all these special people to one spot...
Today's weight: 215 | Today's workout: Treadmill - 2 miles walking, 1 mile running
