Spring Break?

I'm having a hard time feeling like it's Spring Break when it's still February and the temp is barely above freezing.

This coming week, Feb. 28 - March 4 is Spring Break week for Marywood. I was told I don't have to come in to open the computer lab at the library. It's a mixed blessing; it means I get to start my observation hours at Riverside High School at the beginning of the day, thus I earn more make-up hours that I need to be on track to qualify for student teaching by next spring. The downside is that I miss out on all my work hours instead of just half of them.

So I'll be spending my Spring Break observing all day at Riverside, which should be fun and interesting. I'll be rotating around the school, observing four or five different teachers. The days will end in the Senior AP English class, which is taught by a friend of Jill's family who is crazy and awesome.

Workouts are going well; the pattern of getting to the Y four or five days a week continues. I'm up to running 1.5 miles continuously, and my shin pain is slowly (very slowly) beginning to subside. I am feeling strong and motivated; in short, I'm feeling good.

Yesterday's weight: 216 | Yesterday's workout: Stationary Bike 6.5 miles
